Bob Mallory is a recording and mix engineer based out of New York. Bob cut his teeth at NYC's Avatar Studios, working on albums with artists like Kings of Leon (Come Around Sundown - Grammy nominated for Best Rock Album), Bruno Mars (Unorthodox Jukebox - Best Pop Vocal at the 56th Grammy Awards), Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Diana Krall, T Bone Burnett, Ricky Martin, and many more.
After six years and an incredible learning experience alongside the top names in the field, including engineers and producers like Mark Ronson, Al Schmitt, Bob Clearmountain, Phil Ramone, and many others, Bob left Avatar to become chief engineer at Paste Magazine's NYC production studio. It was here that the Live at Paste sessions were born, where he recorded and mixed almost two thousand live sessions with groups ranging from promising emerging artists to well known acts like Waka Flocka Flame, Steve Martin, Elle King, Durand Jones & the Indications, Mandolin Orange, Blue October, Nahko & Medicine for the People, and many more.
Currently, Bob is available to record and mix your projects.
"I always loved bringing bands to Paste sessions because I knew Bob Mallory was producing. Not only did he consistently set the best moods and make everyone feel at ease, but he was also always deeply professional and reliable from beginning to end. There was never any doubt that things were going to go perfectly and without any drama. And when it came time for playback, not one musician wasn't immensely impressed by what Bob was able to accomplish, and very moved that he took such profound care in helping make them sound their very best." - Ken Weinstein, Co-Founder, Big Hassle Media

"I have worked with Bob often over the last 4 years when bringing clients into the NYC Paste studio for livestream sessions. It was a joy to see his talents on full display while recording several artists a day; his ability to adapt to any situation with fluidity is extremely impressive. While these opportunities can be high pressure and stressful for some artists, he always went out of his way to make sure clients were not only comfortable in the space, but confident in their performances." - Tyler Soucy, Publicist at Stunt Company Media
